There is nothing better on a summer afternoon than spending time with the family lazily cruising along the lake in your own pontoon boat. Pontoon boats allow you to take a lazy kick back approach to water fun. A pontoon boat is a flat deck boat attached to two large cylindrical flotation devices called pontoons. The setup allows you to have a very large flat deck space for entertaining. You can fit more people on a pontoon boat that a similar size regular sigle hull boat. Pontoon boats typically go slower than a single hull boat, but are built that way to facilitate entertainment. You can put the whole family, aunts, uncles, friends, friends brothers, friends brothers girlfriends, and a few more on a pontoon boat.

Pontoon boats are usually set up with different seating arrangement…typically a bunch of couch type furniture to allow the most seating. Some pontoon boats have formal dining areas. Overall pontoon boats offer a different type of relaxation on the lake. Slower than a ski boat, but much bigger, they allow you to relax while you cruise the water or watch a sunset.
